Mama Joyce Blasts Chuck

Chuck Smith has officially gotten on everybody’s bad side.

Days after Apollo told us he’s anticipating a conversation with Chuck after the former NFL baller insulted his wife Phaedra on national TV, Kandi’s mother Joyce has something to say about Chuck’s crude behavior:

“He got on there and told the biggest lie he ever told. I was so shocked because I really liked Chuck. He was like a son to me when they were dating. I mean, his mother and father and myself all used to go out to dinners together. He took us out to Cirque du Soleil. I’ve even spent the night at Chuck’s house. Kandi had keys to his house,” she told Essence.

“Would you let a jump offs mother keep your daughter over the weekend more that two times? Every time I saw him he would hug me like “Hey Ma, what’s up?” He bought me my first Louis Vuitton bag. He was so in love with Kandi he would call me even after she quit him. I don’t know what made him say that. I mean it was 20 years ago. I don’t know whether he was trying to get on the show or what but I’m so disappointed in him.”

Chuck has clearly worn out his “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” welcome and furthermore, should be ashamed of himself for talking to any woman in the manner that he spoke to Phaedra. But, Phaedra had the last laugh at the expense of his schmedium male member!

Aunt Patti is at it again!

Whatever you do, don’t call Patti Labelle a diva, she might smite you! In a recent interview, Patti sounded off on the term “diva” because she says the term is given to any ole’ heifer who can’t sing and one thing that can not be refuted is Patti’s vocal abilities!

“That word is used so loosely that I don’t even consider myself a diva. I always considered myself a woman who sings her heart out and who gives 120 percent. “Diva” is a word that I wouldn’t wanna call myself because it’s so loosely used. It’s not cute anymore,” she said in an interview with PrideSource. When asked if the word carries a negative connotation, the Grammy-award winning artist, responded “Yeah, because all these little heifers who can’t sing are called divas! It doesn’t mean anything to me and probably to some of the other ladies who have been doing it for as long as I have: Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick. You know, I’m speaking for me – I don’t know if they like to be called divas – but I know I wouldn’t call them divas, because it’s not in good company.”

SWV’s Plastic Surgery Stories

SWV was one of our favorite groups in the 90s. Taj, Coko and Lelee had the voices, the style and the swag that made house parties a blast with their classic hits like “You’re The One” and “Weak.” The ladies eventually broke up but have reunited on WeTv on their reality show that locked in 1.2 million total viewers on its debut. While on the promo run, the ladies stopped by Power 105.1′s “The Breakfast Club” where Coko and Lelee revealed that they’ve both had plastic surgery and Lelee would be getting another Brazilian butt lift on the show.

Lupita Nyong’o Makes Her TV Rounds

Seriously, life is unfair. Lupita Nyong’o is not only gorgeous and well-spoken, she’s freakin’ ripped! Last night on “Jimmy Fallon,” the “12 Years A Slave” star and recent Golden Globe and SAG award winner let out her guns for a candid interview with the funny host. Lupita gabbed about being photobombed by Emma Thompson at the SAG Awards.

She also stopped by “The Queen Latifah Show” and dished on her reaction to her Oscar nomination:

‘You know I never, in my wildest dreams, could I have thought that the first role I get out of school would lead to an Oscar nomination,’ the emotional star told Latifah.
