Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Is Back In A New Way

Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez and the rest of the “Love & Hip Hop” crew are back– sort of! The new trailer is here, but, in an interesting twist, the stars will be re-watching season 2 and providing new commentary on some of the most iconic episodes. This isn’t a new season of shenanigans but a new perspectives from  K. Michelle, Stevie J, Joseline, Momma Dee, Scrappy and Mimi on what we’ve seen on the show thus far, including the scene when Joseline called Mimi a “maid.” They’re really milking this for all it’s worth, but we’ll end up watching, because, we will.

Remember when we told you about Jackie Christie’s daughter Chantel sharing a screenshot of her messages between her and Draya’s boyfriend Orlando? It looks like a lot of people are laughing at Chantel, including her own mother. Apparently Mamma Christie doesn’t mind commenting on Chantel’s messy situation, as she live tweeted during last night’s episode of  ”Basketball Wives” saying:

Shady Boots! And given Jackie and her daughters, dare we say “terse” history, it’s not a good look at all.

Rihanna was announced as CFDA’s Fashion Icon a few weeks ago and we knew it was only a matter of time before we got a reaction from her.

Drake’s gal pal took to Instagram to show how proud she was for winning the award. She included a snapshot of the CFDA award press release, along with a video of money being poured over a man’s head. LOL:

It wouldn’t be Rihanna if she didn’t give her fun response with a dose of ratchet. We guess she now has something to keep her distracted from hearing Drake profess his love on a track again? **sips tea**

Janelle Monae Ditches The Suit

Finally in the moment we’ve all been waiting for, Janelle Monae posed for a picture in rare form with her art group, The Wondaland Arts Society. The “Electric Lady,” who doesn’t want her body to distract from her talent, was seen in the photo wearing a short, tight mini dress and strappy Jimmy Choo heels and she looks incredible! She even had her hair pulled back to show off that gorgeous face!

Weerkkkkkkk, Janelle! Yesssssss! We love seeing this sexy side, and it’s not going to completely distract us from her amazing talent. After all, not everyone can cover a David Bowie song this well.  Give us more of this please!

J.Lo Beats Diddy?

Jennifer Lopez and her ex, Diddy Puff Daddy are competing with each other, but it’s not personal; it’s just business.

Billboard Magazine reports that Jenny From The Block outbid Diddy in acquiring Fuse TV. Both moguls reportedly made the same $200 million dollar bet on the music network, but the deal went to J. Lo.

Was it just a coincidence that they were the only two (former lovebirds) trying to get the top prize? According to Jennifer’s manager, Benny Medina, maybe not:

Asked if Lopez and Combs’ competing bids for Fuse was a coincidence or a residual effect of their two-year affair that began in 1999– Combs once likened his tumultuous relationship with Lopez to Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner’s romance – Medina replied, “I don’t think it’s a coincidence,” but added that it had nothing to do with their past history.

“In many ways, Jennifer and Sean are cut from the same cloth,” Medina said. They’re both passionate artists of the same generation who think on a grand and global scale. They were two superstars seeking to build their brand, who happened to be Jennifer and Puffy.” (They’re also both 44 years old.)

There’s no word on when Jennifer will take the reins. But, hopefully, when she does, her salary isn’t too astronomical. We already know what she’s doing to American Idol. Sheesh!
