Mariah Carey Gets Some Help While Singing with James Corden

Two ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segments in one week is a new record for James Corden, but he has a good reason for this one. Using some of the best performances since the segment got its start, Corden put together a special Christmas version of the popular segment. And what better song — and artist — to help out than Mariah Carey with “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Even if you hate Christmas music, like most sane people around the holidays, you can’t help but acknowledge that this is one of the best modern holiday tunes to gain popularity.

It’s got that infectious happiness that you’d expect from something at the holidays and Mariah Carey can definitely sing, even if her other qualities aren’t always the most pleasant. But she’s along for the ride, with Adele, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, and many others tossed in in some pre-recorded bits from their own appearances in the segment.
