Uncs Unite: Charlie Wilson Announces Tour with Babyface, K-Ci Hailey and El DeBarge
The legendary frontman is hitting the road with fellow R&B icons Babyface, K-Ci Hailey, and El DeBarge for a nationwide celebration of "legacy, love, and timeless soul".
Charlie Wilson is serving up the ultimate summer experience with his newly announced Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout Tour, and he’s bringing some heavyweights with him.
The legendary frontman is hitting the road with fellow R&B icons Babyface, K-Ci Hailey, and El DeBarge for a nationwide celebration of “legacy, love, and timeless soul”.
The Live Nation and P Music Group-produced tour kicks off August 27th at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The tour will hit major cities including Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New Orleans before wrapping up in Memphis on October 12th.
“This tour is unlike anything I’ve done before,” Wilson said in a statement. “As someone who truly loves R&B, getting to share the stage with my friends Babyface, K-Ci, and El is something I’m really looking forward to. The R&B cookout is gonna be one big family reunion for us and our fans.”
Presale tickets are available starting Tuesday, April 15th at 12 p.m. local time using the code cookout and runs through Thursday, April 17th at 10 p.m. General public tickets go on sale Friday, April 18th at 10 a.m. local time.
